About Us

We are a software development company specializing in motion capture and virtual production. Our work supports cutting-edge film, television, and interactive media projects, providing tools and solutions that help bring stories to life.

We are a remote company, but our clients are primarily based in Los Angeles, so this role requires regular travel to motion capture stages and client sites for on-site support. We have a Motion Capture facility in Hollywood for testing and R&D.

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Unreal Engine C++ Programmer to join our team. You’ll be working on core tools and integrations for motion capture and virtual production workflows, as well as supporting clients during high-pressure shoots.

This role is hands-on and varied: part software development, part troubleshooting, and part client-facing support. You will play a key role in ensuring our products run smoothly in demanding, real-world production environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and improve Unreal Engine plugins and C++ codebases for motion capture and virtual production.

  • Provide on-site technical support at client shoots and mocap stages.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues quickly and calmly under pressure.

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to find creative, effective solutions.

  • Write clear user documentation, reports, and guides.

  • Answer customer questions and provide technical support for our products.

  • Continuously improve product stability, usability, and performance.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C++ with professional Unreal Engine development experience.

  • Understanding of real-time rendering, networking, or motion capture workflows is highly desirable.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to stay cool under pressure in live production environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to work directly with clients.

  • Must be located in the U.S. and able to travel to client sites in Los Angeles.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with motion capture hardware/software (e.g., Vicon, OptiTrack, Xsens, etc.).

  • Familiarity with virtual production tools (LED stages, camera tracking, etc.).

  • Previous experience in film, television, or game production environments.

Why Join Us?

  • Work on cutting-edge projects in motion capture and virtual production.

  • Flexible remote-first work environment.

  • Opportunity to collaborate directly with industry-leading clients.

  • Make a real impact by shaping tools used on set and in post-production.
